If you are doing this, stop. Employers are on to you. Change your attitude to gratitude that you have a job and put more than 100% into it. Just getting by is not good enough.
Professional Competency Frameworks/Models
Macrocredentials are degrees and certificates that reflect the completion of a program of study of sufficient depth and duration.
Microcredentials include short-term learning and training and include certificates, badges, and continuing education units as examples.
Maintenance credentials are ones someone must renew or are time-limited in their applicability. Examples include computer skills, teaching certificates, or a medical license.

The Public Health Associate Program (PHAP) is a competitive two-year, paid training program for recent college graduates who are interested in a career in public health. PHAP gives recent graduates the opportunity to gain hands-on, real-life experience in the day-to-day operations of public health programs.

PHENOM Public Health Careers |
We are now known as - The Public Health Expertise Network of Mentors. These mentors are public health professionals with a degree in Public Health who have volunteered to make themselves available to answer your questions about Public Health Practice over the Net. Each serves one-year terms that follow the academic calendar. Recruiting is all year round, but the deadline for the coming academic year is June 30.
I would like to invite you, whether or not you are a SCSU graduate, to become a Public Health Mentor. If have a degree in public health, and are willing to make yourself available to those who are interested in becoming a public health practitioner, then you can be a mentor! As long as someone can reach you at an e-mail address, you can mentor. Check out the Program Description, and then sign up. You can easily do this using the on-line forms that you can access from this page. If you have any questions, please E-mail Me , and I will get back to you.
