Notes: In case you wonder what I do with the statistics I gather off my pages, well, here they are! Initially, statistics were gathered on the 25th of September and October, 1999. Beginning November, 1999, statistics will be gathered on the 1st of each month, and reported in the above format. Initially I reported monthly stats in the format shown below. All statistics are culmulative to date, i.e., November's totals are for the whole web site since it was published on the Web August 25, 1999.
However, the fun in stats is to be able to compare changes over time (the epidemiologist in me).
Note to Statheads: Beginning April, 2000 I started using a Web site tracking system which now allows me to look at monthly hits. As a result, I am changing my reporting to the end of each month.
July 2, 2000 - I will no longer be actively tracking which pages hit 1000, as the explosion of the Public Health Jobs Page makes this a no-brainer (I hate this term, but it's appropriate for this). Thanks.
