8/15/2001 - The most current issue goes out through Egroups to all subscribers, who can access older issues on its Web site.

7/15/2001 - I have just sent out the last newsletter using Listbot, which goes defunct 8/20. I have switched over to E-groups. You must subscribe to get these newsletters. You can do so right below. I have changed the focus of these newsletters to concentrate solely on public health issues. This newsletter was originally developed to provide a faster way to disseminate alumni activity news. But I have found over the months that subscribers are from all over, with most who are not SCSU alumni. Because Egroups does not collect demographic data, I have lost a source of information that I need to ensure these newsletters are useful. Instead, I have decided to gather information from my Web site visitors about what should be included in the newsletters. I have created a poll to find out what subscribers would like to see. Please let me know. It will help me to tailor the newsletter. Thanks for your interest.

Putting out these bulletins in a timely fashion remains a continual challenge to keep up and determine what is newsworthy enough to pass along. I try to make up in breath what's lacking in depth. Currently, my sources continue to grow, and I scan approximately 35-40 electronic newsletters across my computer screen on a monthly basis (not including the computer/techie/geeky ones).

The purpose of this Web page is to provide a record of the contents of all Public Health E-News Bulletins that have been sent out. All current issues are available only via subscription. I definitely don't want to be considered spamming and loathe those who do.
